Test Flight

Woohoo!  Tamra and I test flew her airplane with the new overhauled engine in it.   This morning, we orbited Opa-Locka Airport (KOPF) 8 times.  The engine ran well and all the gauges were in the green.  I never thought I would be able to add test pilot to our resumes.  :)

We also carefully positioned our air race numbers on the airplane. 

We weren't sure everything would come together for us to be able to take off  in time to make it to the beginning of the air race but tomorrow we plan to leave for California to begin the all women's Air Race Classic.  You are invited to be there when we lift off at 9:00am at Orion Jet Center at KOPF. 

The adventure begins for air racer #25!!!!!
